We all know what we want: to be physically and emotionally healthy. The difficult thing is, even knowing how to develop healthy habits. In our last blog we talked about the need to link our wishes and general motivations to the changes we want to make in terms of wellness. So we said that if we are motivated by idealism and helping other people and we want to exercise we could organize races for our ideal, or that if power motivates us we could look for competitive sports. Today we want to give some practical tips to join that association desire for change / personal motivation:
Make sure that are you ready to start. Until you really want to start a change in sport, sleep or food, don't do it. We all have a hard time making that decision.
Lean on routines. The more you do what it costs you, the easier it will become.
Just do it! Just do it! Do not think it. Get dressed in your sports clothes and go outside for a walk. Stop thinking about that candy, take your mind to other thoughts. If you think about it you won't. Just do it.
EnjoyFind the time and make that exercise, what you eat or when and how you sleep, fun. Do not practice a sport that you hate, dance or play, find those foods, that even if you are healthy you like, stop eating what you hate. Be creative and enjoy.
Practice moderation. Eat a little of everything, but in moderation. Exercise by demanding a little more each week, but without straining or you will quit. Sleep eight hours whenever possible. There will be times that life's tasks will not leave you.
Be reasonable in your demands. If you ask yourself too much you will fail. Ask yourself to improve a little every week, but don't push yourself more than you can because you quit.
Visualize how you will feel when you achieve it, but also visualize the difficulties and how you will overcome it.
